Superior Cycling performance for LIBs with minor Sc doping
The electrochemical measurements indicate that the fabricated LiMn1.94Sc0.06O4 displays superior cycling performance than the pure LiMn2O4. Therefore, this facile strategy presented here is an effective method to improve the cycling property of LiMn2O4 cathode for lithium energy storage.

Global sales of cathode materials was 235 000 tons in 2018 with CARG of 9% between 2014-2018. If we put 1% Sc2O3 on half of that volume it will create demand for 1 175 tons per annum for Sc2O3 and is increasing.
