Growth

SCZ has made the right decisions with its new acquisition. The future growth of mining companies will be through acquisitions or mergers. Stop developing projects at too high a price. With inflation so high and the time to build new projects will be virtually unattainable. So undervalued here. SCZ will soon become a 6+ million ounce producer so $1 is a minimum price to reach quickly. Imagine if the price of silver goes back above $30. The best is yet to come here.

SCZ is not only a mid-tier silver producer but also a good size zinc producer (we have to remember that Glencore listed the assets bought by SCZ under their 'zinc production' division) so, with the price of zinc at an historic high...well.... sky is definitely blue for SCZ. GLTA
Comment by tarnoir on Jul 20, 2022 11:53am
Agreed! The zinc production here is the "golden nugget" per se. Annualized based on Q2 #s, SCZ is slated to produce 185 million Ibs of zinc/yr. That alone should easily support a $100 million MC. This little producer has the best SP potential IMO of any junior out there. Also love that they developed almost 10,000 meters. This shows they aren't sitting on their hands but working the ...more

New mine construction is running above budgets in almost all jurisdictions. As for Santa soon becoming 6M+ producer I am not sure what you are trying today. 6 million ounces of silver are currently produced on annual basis. When taking into account zinc and lead company is currently producing 15 million silver equivalent ounces which is the comparative metric used in the sector.
Comment by greendayyyy on May 16, 2022 8:17am
At the moment the annual silver production is around 6 million ounces. In my calculation I did not include the production of zinc and lead. I know for a fact that the production will be much higher but let's wait and see what the production figures will be in a few months.
Comment by Lifexprt on May 16, 2022 8:55am
I am curious to see how you came up with this figure as we already know what production levels will be in a few months as we know the Bolivian assets combined with existing mine produced 4.3 million silver equivalent ounces on total production basis with only 13 days from that quarter attributable to Santa. We are on track to produce a similar amount in Q2 and every quarter afterwards. Still ...more

Consolidated production expressed in silver equivalent ounces 1,391,590 AgEq; (+65.3% vs Q4 2021, and +96.8% vs Q1 2021) Here is the consolidated production for the first quarter of 2022 Where do you get the 4,3 million ounces for the first quarter?
Comment by Lifexprt on May 16, 2022 11:02am
You need to look below into consolidated Q1 production results including the Bolivian assets. Only 13 days from the quarter were attributed to SantaCruz. Your quarterly production is at 4.3 million silver equivalent. It will be fully attributable this Q (Q2) https://twitter.com/DavidRAF303/status/1526213819143532546?t=IOU3502N130qugYcHxrAzQ&s=19
Comment by greendayyyy on May 16, 2022 11:13am
Total production for 2021 is 3.2 million ounces of silver. How do we get to 15 to 17 million ounces? If SCZ was a 17 million ounce producer I would have 1 million shares in my portfolio. Do the right research.

My gosh, no wonder people can't make money in the market and which is why this isn't at $1+ yet, because of people that cannot read a simple news release. Open the production report, look on page 4 and tell me what you see. It's called "Bolivia and Mexico consolidated production results (considering full Q1 production)" Quarterly silver equivalent ounces is 4,319,260 with ...more

Seriously, go back to school. First Quarter 2022 Consolidated Production Highlights:   silver 469,829 oz (+47.6% vs Q4 2021 and +44.4% vs Q1 2021) ; lead 1,493 tonnes (+47.5% vs Q4 2021 and +58.0% vs Q1 2021) ; zinc 6,325 tonnes (+83.8% vs Q4 2021 and +176.8% vs Q1 2021) ; copper 419 tonnes (-14.1% vs Q4 2021 and +18.4% vs Q1 2021) Consolidated production expressed in silver ...more

Wow you are serious. Ok that is fine, I don't expect much from SH anyways. Maybe come over to CEO and learn something. Arturo just picked up 452,000 shares on Friday. Production is currently at 4M+ silver equivalent ounces, you can either re-read the last 5 news releases or wait until Q2 report is released in August but by then it will be $1+. Don't look back look forward. Go on SantaCruz& ...more

Lifeex, We now have the bar officially raised. Imagine where we'd be today post announcement if silver was at 25oz and heading for 30. We need to be patient. I remain very optimistic about drilling at Santa G. If my assumptions are somewhat correct, Santa G. will ve a major propellant to the Mex side of operations. Can't wait for drill results. Thank you for your ongoing supportive posts.

Indeed. Patience is key. Now that they are producing in the intermediate level category stock price will be rerated to match comparable producers. Nothing to be concerned with and yes blue sky ahead. Santa Gorgonia should surprise us next month.
Comment by Windtalker on Jul 20, 2022 10:50am
In your opinion, when will we see a rerate. Fingers crossed after q2 financials are released?
Comment by Lifexprt on Jul 20, 2022 10:56am
Arturo said production and financials are strong. This should start drifting higher into 50 cent range just based on these production results. With financials next month and an overall change in precious metals sentiment we should see higher prices. Just my humble opinion

Fair enough. Thanks Life. If any company deserves a break it's Santacruz. They have worked tirelessly to the goal of becoming a mid tier and they have arrived. Congratulations to them. Nothing but integrity and hard work here. Refreshing to see.

Life, One catalyst that people are not talking about is Bolivian sentiment. I believe it's going to really push this thing up and over is a concerted effort by the Bolivian government to let the mining community know that they're open for business. They are actually. They just need to communicate this. With places like Chile going down the mining drain and other areas in South America ...more

Well for one Santacruz operates a joint venture with a Bolivian government entity, I am assuming they have developed relations. As for Chile if I am not mistaken they aren't moving in that direction anymore. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/may/15/chiles-constitutional-assembly-rejects-plans-to-nationalise-parts-of-mining-sector But yes assets are subject to jurisdiction discount hence ...more

The next goal for the company is to lower the all-inclusive production cost. At the current silver price, the Q2 results could be negative. I think this is the only weak link in the company. In the next few months money should be going up and certainly the cost of production should be going down which will turn in our favor pretty quickly. In any case, what the company has just achieved in a few ...more

Q2 results are phenomenal financially using average price of zinc over the quarter of $3800 per tonne and silver of $23. It will be a blowout with cash flow and revenues. Now Q3 (current quarter) aren't reported until November and we need metals to rebound for those outperform.
Comment by greendayyyy on Jul 20, 2022 2:35pm
You may be right and I hope they will be positive. I'm not sure about the $23 silver price. I think it will be around $20 and $21. In the long run the results should be better and better.
Comment by greendayyyy on Jul 20, 2022 11:05am
Lifexprt...........For someone calling me a clown here here are the annual production results for 2020 and 2021 again. Despite significant increases in production of all metals except lead, consolidated annual silver equivalent (Ag eq) production decreased by 10% to ( 2021- 3,220,974 Ag eq ounces ) (2020 - 3,590,451 Ag eq ounces) due primarily to a higher silver price used in the Ag eq calculation ...more
