thank you for that link.this article  gives a lot of exposure to seprotech.many people reading this article may start to become interested in the company  and who knows maybe buy some shares.now all we need is some positive revenue numbers.nice to see somebody other than bmo buying today

Although this exposure is great and hopefully generates some interest, the article is mis-leading.  These units were originally designed, built and supplied by Zenon (now GE, ugghhh).  Seprotech is performing an over haul on a few of these units currently.  Basically like taking your GM, Ford or Chrysler to your neighbourhood mechanic.  (Most likely a Chrysler, if its in ...more

The main reason they got these contracts for the military unit retrofits is that  their president used to work for Zenon as their VP.    Jimmylegs1, you are right on with what you've posted and is what I've been saying for years.  They need to stand on their own and get some traction.  I'm hoping the new patents will do that but.... as in the past I'm ...more

it says in the article that each unit costs  between $600,000 and $700,000 or about $2 million in total. do you think this $2 million will show up as revenue for sepretech. if yes this is great as i think this companys stock price will follow their revenue increases and eventually some profits will appear.market cap now is around $4 million and this cannot  last if annual revenues ...more

Is that the capital cost of a unit or the repair and overhaul cost?  I believe it is the capital cost.  An overhaul cost could be anywhere from a few hundred dollars (not likely), up to 10's of thousands or possibly a couple of hundred thousand dollars at most, i would think.  If any more, why overhaul them?  Just buy new units.
