Numbers

So they have 2.5 million oz of gold @ $1,700/oz = 4.25 billion in gold. If it cost $1,000 /oz to get it out of the ground we are still looking at $1.75 billion which = to approx $10 per share

Nothing earth shattering, however enough to get some interest back in the stock.Would expect to see more acitivty as people try and take a position during selling season over the next 2 weeks.Hope we see decent results early in the New year and gold hit $2,000.....  Happy holiday,Dawg

they have a market cap of 30 mio $30 $ / 2,5 mio oz gold = 12 $ / oz

Gold is fetching $18.00 inferred and between $28-40 indicated, in the ground. so worst case scenerio should be 27 cents/share plus whatever cash they have and best case if they were to be bought out is around 61 cents plus whatever cash is on hand. just for this property. JMHOGLA

Using $20 inferred, $40 indicated and current float SFF adds about .12 - .24 with every million ounces added (inferred to indicated).Would hope to see the resouce hit 4 - 6 million in Q1'2012. Would hope to hit $2 at that level with speculation of more to come.

erich01 remember miraflores results are pending, and think about today, why did MM choose a trading halt, miraflores resource half year ago wasn´t a haltthe reason, like i think: put the focus of investors in SSF, and then releasing great miraflores results, only my opinion
Comment by erich01 on Dec 14, 2011 9:32am
My opinion? It is obvious there hasn't been any interest from the big boys. By placing a trading halt they try to generate some interest even with mediocre results.Non of Seafield's nabours intersect jaw dropping grades, it is all low grade. The whole area is low grade. To be fair long intersects, but still low grade. The economics is not there at 0.9g/ton. That's why the lack of ...more

do not think that the grades are not economic, look at miraflores grades, this is really impressive and i think, when they update the miraflores resource in january , there will be a huge increase really excited about miraflores holes, think of it, MM has already most of the holes back, like i think, so they know and follow their strategy....

Miraflores grades are not impressive, the resource will increase but nothing to jump up and down.Management makes 390000/year as per financial statements. If they were paying themselves 50000 and shares at market value then they will be interested in increasing the share price.Again, it is a great stock for penny flippers like me, I can still make money while the longs are sitting on dead ...more

grades are imressive like i think, just have a look at batero with similar grades and assets, batero has an Mcap of about 100MioCAD, seafield 25 Mio Cadhow do you explain that?

erich01that was old MM in those days, roddenberry etc.but now there is lopez and surely he needs the time, but i  trust them to raise that!!!!!these prices are so low, take your chance, i take mine!!!!

Quit trying to convince loners about the stock. Look at the big picture and not what  one person tells you. Roodenburg still works for the company and was the one who raised all that cash and  so he   still     plays a role.  There are still big shares holders in this company for if not this stock would be a nickel right now ...more

Met a few big boys and MMs in Vancouver ... the biggest issue with this stock is the loss of trust and nothing else... good results if not impressive... however many of the MMs have written it off.  Other big boys who bought it at 50cents dont want to sell now as its no point (unless you have tax gains elsewhere to write off against... "tax gains in 2011!!!???").  Long ...more
