gold sector

this is  the  worst i ever  seen  it..we  all  know  value  of  Snowline  like  easy $8.00  a share  but  again  its  like  nobody  gives  a  hoot  about  gold  stocks...

Yes it's difficult to believe after Snowline releases an incredible intersection of 318 meters of 2.55 g/t gold and the share price is basically flat with very little interest from the market. This is probably the largest gold discovery on the planet in recent memory and there is little reaction from the market. The gold sector is officially dead. I think we are all in ...more

I think he's sorely mistaken. In my view, this is what happens when people get too giddy too early. Current Market Caps: Seabridge Gold (SEA):      1.2B New Found Gold:       842M Snowline Gold:       372M

So what are you saying exactly? Snowline is overvalued with a market cap of 372M and a possible resource of 30 million ounces of gold? I honestly don't know what you are getting at. When I look at the valuation of Snowline I think it is greatly undervalued.   Other deposits in the Yukon and Alaska are valued at about $100 per in the ground ounce of gold. If Snowline ...more

I'm saying exactly what I stated in my previous post. If "hole 29" is another great core, then a market cap of $1B is "achieveable"??? I highly doubt that. Tell you what, let's wait for hole 29's assay result, at if it's another winner, see where the market cap stands in the days that follow. I know you know what NFG has in terms of size and quality of ...more

The issue with Seabridge is the huge capital expenditure they need to make to put the project into production. It will cost somewhere between $6 billion and $8 billion to develop. They will need a partner with very deep pockets. Also it is a copper gold deposit which is a much different deposit than what SGD has. Not a good comparison.  The issue with New Found Gold is the ...more

Agree 100%,in all my years of investing in mining stocks Snowline has the potential to be a massive low cost mine. I was invested in NFG and watched with anticipation as it ran up to a 1billion market cap. Still a fantastic discovery but costly and they are chasing multiple complex quartz veining systems. Quinton is very, very knowledgeable and i trust his judgement when he speaks if the economics ...more

More crystal ball reading by mega I see. 1) Where do you get the $6-$8 billion figure? If I missed something on the SEA website, please tell me where you found these figures. If not, sources please. If you have no sources, how would you know? Also, in case you missed it, on page 3 of Seabridge's October 2022 slide presentation, a 2022 PFS indicates a 33 year open pit mining operation of ...more

OK, found the initial mine build cost estimate of $6.4B for KSM, so you get a gold star there. However, both the KSM project and the anticipated Valley project are in the midst of making their case for a mine in a rising interest rate and inflationary environment, and SGD is quite a long way from producing a PFS showing mine build and AISC estimates. KSM has lots of existing infrastructure in ...more

One more tidbit. When it comes to gold mines, I think the most important criterion is the bottom line, i.e., AISC, profit margin, life of mine, annual production. In other words, which mine is the most profitable and lucrative regardless of which type of gold system is present. Here's a list of the top 10 lowest cost gold mines in the world in Q1 2019. Fosterville #1 at an AISC of $315 per ...more

Read up on Seabridge some more. It was awhile ago since I did research on that project but they have a whole host of issues up there in the mountains of BC.  First part of the deposit  was said to go under a glacier for starters.  They would have to build a massive dam larger than the Hoover Dam. I'm not making this stuff up. It's a nightmare. They ...more

Pretty sure he doesnt have a clue.  Someone with a sense of humour. How refreshing.  Bucco

So I would say that Snowline is at the beginning of the discovery phase (see link below) of the Lassonde Curve  which usually sees the greatest amount of appreciation for the share price. The project has been greatly de-risked now that they have 8 or 9 really good drill intersections with awesome assay results. Now in Snowline's case I would say the discovery phase ...more

Never heard of it. I suspect you are making this up. Wouldn't be surprised if this is one of Bucc's aliases designed to confuse people.

And yet if you google it with geology there it is.  Bucc

I have made tons of money in gold stocks but I don't buy until the interest cycle pivots to decreasing rates in a recession, so I have somewhere between a while to wait and a long time to wait.
