SGD: IMPOSSIBLE TO PERMIT VALLEY??

With the Indigenous Nation calling for a Pause (shut down) of ALL drilling and permitting, will Snowline ever be able to permit a mine at the Valley project area?

An economist friend of mine in Vancouver thinks that "It will never be permitted in my Lifetime."

Comments, Snowline?

SGD will likely be sold before they get any permits according to Sprott Research dated June 17 2024. Mining is very important to Canada in general and to the Yukon. There will be a mine at Valley. One accident every decade or so will not stop this hige industry from flourishing while providing thousands of jobs while doing so.  Mines will be built with more scrutiny and no cut corners.  ...more

You have stupid friends. there are other mines in the Yukon who were getting permission, why shall sgd don't get one. In the news from June,17 we can see that the producing of gold makes less pollution than other mines. i think somebody is playing a big game with us in the moment. Somebody is needing cheap shares. atleast I will write to the company if anybody can tell us what is going on.

Good question.  It is currently operating under existing permits.  Will those permits get renewed?  That is Yukon and first nation politics.  Everyone is entitled to their political prediction. This play is no longer just about geology and mine economics.  That is the scary part.

They are not stopping their drilling. It's only a temporarily stop of new mines and this only until everything is known about the accident at Victoria. stop your making the peoplenervous with your bullshit,
