Victoria Gold in receivership and to be delisted

The woes of VCGX have gone to the extreme.  The cyanide leak has not only  killed fish, it has killed the company.  SGD sp has held in there nicely, despite this.  But environmental restrictions will no doubt become far more cumbersome in the future.  It will be interesting to see how SGD navigates through these murky waters.

World class deposits will make the stringent environmental stewards that SGD aims to achieve with valley, now move along as we move forward closer to the PEA in sight.

As of August 16 the natives were still calling for an end to mining on their lands.  I understand the geological enthusiasm for the Valley project and I share it but until this political overhang is resolved I consider this stock to be very risky.  I doubt that any major will forward a bid until this matter is resolved. Yukon minister says there's still 'hope' for gold ...more
