I do believe in a much higher gold price ( 2600 ) .. Thing that bothers me is I can't put my finger on what the catalist will be . I think it's going to be inflation but as long as the Gov. has their finger on the interest rate button it nullifies the pressure for gold to go up. The only thing I can actually see happening is the Gov not raising the interest rates fast enough and inflation basically takes over .. Wjat is your take on this situation..

Rockit, The catalyst will be The Bond Market. The Fed has started to reduce the amount of bonds they are buying, but they are still buying. Their balance sheet is loaded with debt. To fight inflation they need to start raising interest rates. How far can they raise them before the interest on the debt crashes the market. (2%-2.5%).
