Washtrading

Opening Bid/Ask is .20/21. What's with the washtrading by Anonymous at .195?  Does anybody bother to investigate this illegal activity?

I think they operate as they do because there is no uptick rule. The market is wide open and the shorts sellers can short sell at will without any conditions. Basically they are looting our investment by borrowing our shares to take a short sell position to profit. Anonymous is the usual suspect.

you can look up any venture and many on the senior exchange in Canada and see the same criminal behavior in my opinion, so many venture stocks having blood sucked out of them everyday. I wish the overhaul of Canadian stocks will happen soon by our Securities Commission as this carnage in my opinion should be illegal.

Gentlemen gentlemen, First of all, you have to look at the macro world and realize SIC is not the only stock in universe. Take a look at the entire broad market the past week? Second of all, I could care less if SIC was trading at $.18 or $.25 today. Makes no difference to me. Short sellers do not take anything away from me. There will be a time to start unloading my position which is in the ...more

Agree, I only look at company releases, not share price And this downtrend was not unexpected, espacially in junior sector Here is suggestion, trade 50% of position after stock has had run up, or whole market  and then you will be happy at pullback and remember, nothing goes only straight up and nothing stays down Maybe junior sector stays low for next 6 months to 2 years, it would not be ...more

Wow BlueChipper2020 what the heck do you think we were all saying but exactly that along with the market jitters but to see shorters and flippers piling on to add to the carnage. What are you talking about when you say you think you can guess why the uptick rule is left in Canada? No the uptick rule was removed sometime in or about 2003 which opened the door to the vermin Hedge funds with their ...more

FYI I meant that the rule does not exist in Canada. You know perfectly well what I am saying. Why don't you start shorting if you think it is so easy. You can make a lot of money regardless if you know what you are doing. Crying and complaining gets you NIL. Its allowed so quit the wining. GLTA

What you meant wasn't what you said and you were condescending in your original remarks. No my " whining " is backed up by complaints sent to IIROC against naked shorting and Hedge fund shorting plus signing with others a petition against predatory shorting.  What are you talking about when you say quote: FYI I meant that the rule does not exist in Canada. You know perfectly ...more

Relax. Sounds like you have lost lots of money in the markets otherwise you would not be crying like a baby. I am just tired of clowns like you wining if a penny stock goes down a penny. You litter the message board. You F>>> yourself BTW also.

BlueChipper2020 Here is the issue regarding  the uptick rule. I copied and pased excerpts from what I have read. Known as Rule 10(a)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the uptick rule allows investors to short a security only at a price higher than the security's last trade. The uptick rule states that you cannot sell a stock short on a down tick. You must wait until the price ...more
