Eric Sprott: "Back in the Saddle Again"
Following an extended period of absense from public interviews, due to family health concerns, Eric finally returned to Sprott Money "Eric's Weekly WrapUp with Craig Hemke" today.
* The first 11-1/2 minutes are talking about non-market stuff (Covid/Vaccines/Fraud/etc)
* ~ 11:40 He begins to discuss Silver & Gold / Fed manipulation
* ~ 15:20 Talks about Basel III / unsure of the underlying BIS motivation for implementation, but has heard that China & Russia might have pressured the BIS with threats to set up their own gold standards.
** Thinks recent hits on PMs may have been to PUSH the STOP LOSSES (edit: that's
always been a common strategy by market makers & specialists) TO COVER SHORT
POSITIONS.
* ~ 18:17 The subject of the discussion moves on to "NEW SPROTTLAND" (as Craig
Hemke playfully suggests might be a nice name for that island province off to the far east of
the rest of the Great White North.
** Eric credits Dennis Laviolette showing him a 2019 NFG drill core as being his initial
reason to jump to attention, and figured he should buy into the Private Company.
** He also credits some articles from Ian Honsperger (Geological Survey of Canada) for
background information on the geology of the region.
** He credits Sean Ryan for his boots on the ground staking approach for bringing attention
to the region
** Of course, he credits Quentin Hennigh, who was also a major influence on Eric's earlier
romance with Fosterville
** He stresses that they are all looking for many deposits !
** They believe that this could be like the early days of mining in Timmins in 1918 !
** He talks about Sokoman, and Labrador Gold .
** He stresses that there are 6 major faults !!!
** He believes that these are the early days !!!
** He states: " this is fun !!! "
** He mentions a number of the other companies in the region that he also owns.
** He stresses that he is not a short term "trader".
** If their geological concepts are being met with positive results in the field, his own trading
strategy is to PRESS the BET !!!
** At this time, they are all wondering, "how BIG can it GET ??? "

Refer to my prior post. To clarify: Regarding Sokoman, Eric said SIC has "crazy crazy good drill holes" and mentioned a few of them (i.e. the 11m x 44gpt one and the 5m x 124gpt one.) They also recently had 8m x 64gpt. BC

Great recaps Blindboy and BC, Pretty much summarizes my thoughts for not just SIS, but for this whole region. For too long this area has been downtrodden. I like the people's spirit and am pulling for multiple major hits(and lucrative gold mines) throughout. Hell, if the winters weren't so harsh, I think I could live there. Thanks again Best S

A Geo. friend of mine, who worked in NFLD many years ago, told me A Canada wide assessment of Gold Potential, done about 40 years ago, showed that NFLD had the best potential for gold ahead of Red Lake and other great producers in Canada. It would appear now they may have had it right those many years ago. GLTA TTMAC ,
