New 552 Zone Drill Results Spark Interest

Sokoman, located along the Valentine Lake shear zone as is Marathon Gold, is hitting multiple deposits as Marathon is hitting multiple deposits strung along the Valentine Lake fault and as is NewFound Gold along the Appleton fault to the east.  Both Sokoman and Newfound Gold orogenic rock has been compared to Fosterville in Austrailia, one of the highest grade gold deposits in the world.

The similarity has also been made with Timmins and Val Dor. Eric Sprott, with a 26% stake in Sokoman has compared Newfoundland as becoming a significant gold camp as in Timmins and Val Dor with these fault running across Newfoundland from the south-west to the north-east..

Geologists visiting Marathon's Valentine Lake project have commented how Valentine Lake is very much like Timmins and Val Dor with the same type of geology, orogenic gold deposit rock type, Ryan King from Calibre Gold said starting at the 6:30 mark in an interview two days ago. See below.

King comments that Valentine Lake is very prospective along strike and very little of it has been drilled.  They are setting about doing that now.

Yes, as I said, it is encouraging that mineralization is being found outside of the known footprint at Moosehead.
