Still waiting..........

…..…for an intelligent answer regarding the recent large transactions.   The last response from “1589farm” who claims to be a certified securities professional was pretty lame.

 

Honkeybill, since I am long in SLQ I would love to think that it will benefit from infrastructure spending but at the moment I feel that is a pretty big leap of faith – even for an optimist like me. However, we all can dream can’t we!

here are my thoughts regarding the impact infrastructure spending could have on SLQ....the feds have cash they want to give out......the only stipulations is they want it spent quickly...."shovel ready" so to speak. How many major cities will have these types of projects ready to fly? Almost none, or at best, one or two projects that can get a shovel in the ground within 2 or 3 months ...more

I like the POSITIVE way you think.  Part of the problem as I understand it with SLQ product is that the potential “decision-makers” at the client level are slow to react and even slower at actually making decisions.  It seems that every client wants to do their own “pilot” program, I can understand this for the likes of Manitoba Hydro but why are BC communities not beating down the door ...more

One of the things I don't like about the TSE is the amount of time given to companies to file annual reports. The latest financial information we have is from July and even when we see the annual report later this month the data will be 5 months old.In any event, extrapolating from July shows that SLQ is likely out of money unless they have cut costs substantially. Whether they can raise new ...more
