After going over the press release, he said most likely til June 15 and all depends what else the listing department requires. He mentioned they might need a 51101, which is a tech or reserve report but he was not certain on that.  He could not reveal whether they've applied to uplist to TSX.V

Thanks for that.   But I don't get why this should stay halted, there's plenty of material news on the tsx that are way bigger than that and they resume trading a couple of hours after the news. Maybe they just don't trust the company due to their history of failures and want to make sure that this time it's for real.

Could be that or as Thor put it they want to know what the deal is.... so yes it's material but what is it ? Without the reserves it's just a speculative investment in a field but with a deal and reserves it's clear. That clarity should also mean we become relevant and are moved back on to the  main board.  Also an uptick in price accelerates the warrants and the deal is

Yes a 51-101 report if more than say $30 million would have a very positive impact on the SP.  So best to be patient Pasha and wait.  I am with you.  We have been patient this long a few more days can do little harm in the long term and if this results in a uplisting to the TSX that should please all of us.

  My thoughts are at 1850 barrels per day this field is worth much more than $30 million but let's stay conservative and at this valuation is 20 cents per share

It could be since SNV is on the NEX board. Not sure if there is more regulations around that, or could be as simple as it is for uplist and they need a concluded deal before uplist. we are in the final week of waiting... and if we do wait till the 15th, it will be one heck of a day

Perhaps this 2 week pause allows company to proceed behind the scenes with even more additional news. Again I sense the need of urgency and enthusiasm by them to keep this moving forward. Management may chomping at the bit like us to resume trading

One Imagines management are just as keen as we are but whoever posts here needs to make sure that management are aware of our need as shareholders for more deal flow and more barrels....

I suspect they didn't want this news to come out until everything was finalized, well financing in place, reserve report ready, etc. Obviously something leaked, and when we took the big jump up, the exchange called and forced their hand. Could be anytime now, next Friday at the latest. GLTA.

I consider this situation to the equivalent of a Qualifying Transaction. Those of you that have been involved in companies that are in this situation know that this takes a little extra scrutiny from the exchange to review.
