There are 2 reasons why this is significant. 1. As the saying goes, he's putting skin in the game. Essentially, he's investing in the company by buying shares. Further, if he pays out of pocket to purchase then it's considered very positive. Normally, they would sell enough shares to pay for the purchase which would leave them with shares that cost them nothing. That is not what is ...more
