We both know i m from Alberta and therefore i will never support Quebec in anyway shape or form, like the way they support Alberta!!!I told you from the start montreal would not beat Tampa, mostly cause of the reffing,we all know that puck crossed the line when CALGARY/TAMPA played for the cup and yet Tampa still won the cup,to many politics regarding Hockey in the states i think!!!,BETTER LUCK NEXT ...more

Hahaha...Alberta is the A$$hat Captial of Canada... FYI

We dont think that way about Alberta. If most only knew that their vehicles and heating oil, candles, plastic ,etc run and are made from heavy Alberta crude. If Line 5 goes down my home value will drop in the range of 600k CAD. But Im actually more worried about the people of the province that powered Canada. I know there is a cleaner way to extract oil from the sand, we just have to come up with ...more

Have to weigh in here and agree with Mr Peach. The morons in Ontario and Quebec are solely responsible for keeping the manchild "in charge" of Canada. They have no clue how much Alberta contibutes to the country and are absolutley oblivious to what in our world is made from Oil. Makes you shake your head.

Excuse the pun, but : Albert is a on trick pony!  If you invest all-in on a single industry then you suffer the hardest during the hard times and get to also shine in the glory when times are good.... thing is times are not good for Oil and won't be going forward... also the industry bows the the will of OPEC+, so there is that... never have nor never will support big oil, sorry lads!  ...more

60 years of oil production in Alberta and a debt of 100 billion very very poorly manged province and the oil industry only has 1 job for every 10 in so called alternative energy.Norway followed premier Lougheeds strategy and has saved about 1.5 trillion dollars. The Conservatives from Klyne on pilfered away the resource and now the oilsands and abandoned well cleanup costs are estimated at 5 ...more

Well said... glad not everyone is drinking the Alberta Coal-Aide!!! (See what I did there! ;-} ) I always think about that movie, "There will be blood", whenever I get sent into that province to fix a cowboys problem... oil has blacked their hearts, blinded their eyes and shrouded their minds!  Good People feed a Bad Dogma!

I know its got nothing to do with Solar but I just feel everyone needs to remember alot about the people and industry of Alberta. When there were many economic slowdowns in Canadian unemployed workers from ALL over Canada could find work there to support their families. Im just not the kind of guy that calls a Chevy Pickup junk just because the brakes wore out after 100thousand km. Enough about ...more
