I believe we are all waiting patiently as Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) still has it halted from last Friday. Sept 6, 2019 IIROC Trading Halt - SPDR

The length of this halt smells like a private placement, major partner or a buyout as both parties dissect the material news. I'm still expecting a high volume day once the halt lifts.

most likely major partnership or buyout. they have been expanding their leasing options in the US for a while, so the acquirer probably took notice of the strategic locations. License could come anytime as well. This one is looking good.

News out now - MOU about a Reverse Take-over.  I would have to see the financials and operations of the acquiror party but I don't think this is a good deal for us. We are going to dilute our combined ownership of the company down to 20% so that existing SPDR shareholders have no influence over the direction of the combined company.  Further, it would appear that it would be

Read the news release, shares in Spyder Cannabis to remain halted until all necessary filings have been accepted by the regulatory authorities. I don't think Dan Pelchovitz is about to give up the farm considering the hard work he and his team have set up. We shall see.
