From my view...

Spent last night looking back at a lot of the posts on this board.

Two things stand out....1) Maggs has some kind of super vague conspiracy he keeps referring to that is holding back the stock price and yet he also claims to be a big shareholder.  So not sure those two things jive.

and 2) everyone agrees that being on the TSX-V is hurting the stock price.

Seems very little talk about the fundamentals of the business, the reason why Bally's would have bought a 10% stake in the company at $0.20, the fact that insiders own another 35% etc.

Profitability for the past 10 quarters, $6 million in cash and no debt and yesterday talking about tripling the revenues to get to $75 milion by 2025 even as worries about a recession are everywhere.  Gambit with the Bally's name and roll-out of Bally's sports network must be a big opportunity for them.

Sure its microcap name, but can anyone suggest other stocks to look at with that kind of client roster, strong balance sheet and the opportunity to triple revenues in the next 3 years that has a name like Bally's as a 10% investor?

Are we going to deny reality here as well? There are bad actors in all professions. We know that because we are all human. When you analyze real time data, patterns emerge from which you can determine patterns of behavior which do not correlate with the normal rhythm of that particular data over time periods and events.  It's no different than observing body language of someone who is ...more

Those are fair criticisms I think...But I think their biggest problem is telling the story. The presentations are vague, confusing and lacking any real information. Like listening to talking points about the industry but in a very perplexing way. Why do they not show the platform in real time at work showing the data in real time, showing store information, geographical information, buying ...more

Attracting investors is not their business, Maggs, and revealing proprietary information to please shareholders, will also please competitors and potential competitors.....not a very clever thing to do.
Comment by tannin on Oct 26, 2022 4:49pm
And, the stock price is up 900% from 3 years ago Maggs; how about, many holders taking some of the table ?
Comment by tannin on Oct 26, 2022 4:51pm
I meant..'off the table'.
Comment by Maggs on Oct 26, 2022 5:21pm
Could you expand on that statement please... Attracting investors is not their business? What do you mean? I talk to CEO's all the time who want new investors and when they might be raising money. Attracting investors is not their business, Maggs, and revealing proprietary information to please shareholders, will also please competitors and potential competitors.....not a very clever thing ...more

Maggs, if you're a jnr miner always in need of capital, sure, you skew everything to attract investors. SPN does need capital, and has a 'secret sauce', or, proprietary info that is best kept from competitors, including, how much information they can provide to customers, and of course, how they source it, how they 'manipulate the info they have from receipts etc to obtain what ...more

Good point, could be strict NDA's from clients protecting their data. Although, run a ABC Ltd. scenario that shows just what you can achieve using Snip's Platform (which I think they've tried to do on web-page and likely during presentations. Perhaps SPN runs an internal workshop or hires this guy to train staff in presentations: Adrian Davis (he's good - our company used him) The ...more

Someone must know something. I agree with what you write that the investor community does not like this stock ! They certainly don't know how to promote themselves and not actively buidling presence. Time is money....... One cannot wait forever for this "dream stock" to lay the "golden egg". Atul can say what he wants but where is "beef" ??? All the nice ...more

I can't agree more with your assessment Maggs. After he was saying stay with us you will be happy did he say they don't play games in that presentation. I wonder why he would be saying that. My whole experience buying this company over the years has been one big con job game.
Comment by stockpickerone! on Nov 04, 2022 4:43pm
i did not hear him say that - which presentation are you referring to? the recent conference one. it is unfortunate that for some reason they cant create the halo around them to even be valued fairly after all the great underlying fundamentals. In this market though i would rather hold and buy into a company like this with great clients and strong strong financials than the marketing jobs others ...more

Stockpicker that was in the previous presentation the Small Cap Discoveries one. I am saying I agree with Maggs assessment this looks like a monster company. But there is a good reason it can't create a halo. Games are definitely being played here.

I see a company that did $9mm in revs in 2020, $15mm in 2021 and is saying they will do close to $25mm in 2022.  And now saying $75mm by 2025. They have $5mm in cash, no debt and a big strategic shareholder. Maybe I'm being naive here, but can you explain what "games are definitely being played here" as insiders own close to 50% and I only see insider buying the past two years ...more

In case you were wondering what comparables my screener gives me when I look for companies with some similar characteristics to Snipp... MFON-13x EV/Sales GNUS-7x PHUN-5x BWLKF-4x MARK-3x FSRD-3x NXTP-3x SNIPF-1x Are these the right set of comparables?  What is everyone else here comparing SNIPF to?

How about GIVX (in a not too dissimilar sector) with 30% sales growth and a ratio of around 0.3 ?
Comment by OPENHEIMER on Nov 09, 2022 5:00pm
Our onlly salvation is for someone to buy out Snipp and offer $ 0.25. This way they are put out of their misery in not driving shareholder value, with all the positives. They have no true PR to get in with larger investors. Maybe we get some shares in another company that can better drive this business entity with a better management team and recognition in the investor community. Right now no ...more

Yeah let's get a better management team that can market this baby and kill the current management team who just want to focus on financial results. Total waste of time. Marketing is the future. We need stories not performance. Stupid fools. ROFL
