Canada performs more organ transplants
from MAID donors than any other country in the world
With over 4,000 patients waiting in Canada for donor organs, the need is great.
Based on the fact that 34 Americans die each and every day while waiting for an organ, that suggests Canada likley sees about a thousand people a year run out of time before they get the organ needed to survive (about 3 each day).
With SQI's technology to help double the Lungs elibible for transplant, its tragic that more isn't being done to help those in such great need - the technology works very well. Ask Shaf Keshavjee...
