Indifference

Yesterday, (Tuesday), Sarama traded 20,000 shares at 13.5 cents (AUD), equivalent to about 12 cents CDN. On Monday, it traded about 22,000 shares, closed at 14cents.

I thought the idea of listing in Australia was to give the company exposure to investors with a lot higher tolerance for exotic places in general/ Africa in particular. So far, there's zero evidence that the Ozzies could be bothered to pay attention.

This is not starting out well, is it?

You are not wrong. However, have you noticed that 95% of gold equities have been clubbed like a baby seal? There is total market indifference toward explorers, near producers and producers.  Even cash flow rich gold producers with low AISCs (evidence EDV). Not to mention a general market collapse that is hurting almost every non-resource equity as well. Such "indifference" ...more
