Well Donald, you honestly can't blame them, that's what happens when you're not compensated enough! Sadly, you can only afford to invest so much at one time.  :)

@moneysworth They would love you on the compensation commitee. Any speculation as to next financing? - Donald

Adequate amount left in the coffers for at least the next Hz, so should be a-okay for at least a few more quarters. Though good question, as they'll eventually need another raise. Hopefully it's at a MUCH higher SP, after promising results. Fingers and toes crossed. GLTA...  :)

This HZ well should produce some revenue.  Why they need another raise?

Ahhhh Donald, always such a positive guy. :) "From what I can see they will raise before they start completing the well currently being drilled." Yes of course, makes lots of sense...LOL. Raise money at a lower price so you can dilute as much as possible, thereby decreasing the value of your own shares. And, especially while you still have enough to continue the drill program without a ...more

Moneysworth, since you have stated that TAG is not in need of any more capital for the forseeable future, can you share some further insight into your statement? Given the cost overruns I suspect the treasury is getting low? How much to complete the well if they actually can finish the horizontal section? And nothing wrong with GIC's esp if you have lots of capital to play with.  ...more

Well Donald, if you bothered to do a little DD you'd see they have a strong balance sheet. Should complete this first Hz well, and all the associated costs with at least $13 to $14 million Canadian in the bank. Though, realize you've got a conspiracy theorist agenda. No question they're totally responsible for the hiccups and ALL of the cost overruns. They aren't a very experienced ...more

moneysworth, Are you saying TAG will have $13 to $15 million after the completion and tie in of the well?  And Sir, I do like GIC's a lot! At least you know how much capital you will have when they mature. Donald

With current interest rates as they are, do have money currently in GIC's in registered accounts. However, would never brag about them as a good investment as they barely, if at all, keep up with inflation. They are an investment of last resort, as they obviously don't match the returns of well chosen good dividend paying stocks.
