What should I be looking for next?

Kinda new to investing in oil & gas, what should be looking for from TAG going forward and how much is their simply a function of the price of oil?

welcome, The immediate future of TAG will be the results of the oil flow from the well they are currently working to complete. The flow of frac fluid should be completed in a week or so, then they will measure the flow of oil (bpd). The management is anxious to get this info to the investment community as there has been a couple hiccups with the drilling. News of flow rates should be out within 2

Thank you for your post 1000 boe - stock will fall back 2000 boe is positive .... need more wells 3000 boe the stock will run much higher

Surely you kid about the numbers you posted? A 1000 boepd out of a 300 meter horizontal leg would be considered a failure?

Given the reduction in the horizontal portion of the well from 1000m to 309m, I would think given this being a heavy oil field, 500 boepd would be good. Above 1000 boepd would be a home run in my eyes.  That's my opinion.

Not sure if you've made a typo but you're contradicting your previous post re rates for success or failure??! 500 boe/d would be a dud  need 2000-3000boe/d to generate any excitement.

" may have mis read .... you're referring to my comments as 1000boe/d to be a failure ... I believe the market is expecting 1000-1500 boed so below will be a slow build out consequently the stock will be flat  needs stronger flow rates to move

Yes I was asking you if you thought that a 1000 boepd well would be a failure. My understanding is that on the 1000 meter leg there was talk of 1000-1500 boepd but given the shortened horizontal leg, it would be a BIG well to be a 1000+. IMHO.

Yes my apologies.  Yes i think 1000 boed minimum. Due to natural fracture zone and high pressure. It would be foolish for management to have stopped the original plan if they have a small producer.  in theory if this shorter horizontal is commercial. The 2/3 of the horizontal leg remains and now is derisked. We will know in about 10 days.

Stopped due to wellbore instability if I remember correctly. May not be able to drill the full length. Like you said we only have a short time to wait. I hope your predictions are correct.
