The Lucira test isn't much different than before.  It requires Rx (which is a pain), and to shove it down your nose and to use a machine that interprets it. The article still says that most of the approved tests for Covid still need lab processing. no worries all; let USA have the home nasal kit - I prefer CoviSafe.

Machine! lol So any device that can provide a home user their results in 30 minutes or less....is considered a machine instead of what it is being advertised as,a disposable device! Anyways for $50usd the Americans have been able to get a validated home product out to the public...Where's is your disposable home nasal swab test kit??? Yes. Read the article. It has to be put into a device that reads the swab. My words, machine. Call it what you like. Patience folks. Everything on track except stock price. These things take time. THRM popped on Covid hype too early. Obviously it wasn't time yet. Look at SONA now

Lucira Health has 'fleshed' out a few more details of interest regarding their new found focus....they pivoted from the research and knowledge gained it seems after 5 yrs working on a flu test kit and in 9 short months were able to get an FDA EUA for their self-administered,at-home,30 min nasal swab test kit,for the Covid-19 virus....which they plan to retail for $50 usd. Seems only two ...more
