Press releases on Friday? Seriously

I've been in PR and IR for over 30 years with some of the biggest consumer, agency and media brands.

Friday press releasees were used for "bad news" or BS info to fulfill an IR/Market/Regulatory requirements.  In Covid19 times, with people working from home, Fridays don't get a lot of "focused" work or media/press attention ... unless it's a consumer focused store grand openings, new consumer products launch/hitting shelves over weekend or big community events.

Monday thru Wednesday are great days for good press releases; it ensures you've got the week to sell your story to the media / press and get top coverage/exposure.  It gives you time to work tge bigger stories throughout the remainder of week.

Thursdays for business-type press releases were only used as an exception, and only if it had to be out for market / regulatory requirements (within set # of days for material info) ... but couldn't get legal or Exec clearance til late Wednesday.   So Thursday was what you'd have to live with.

However, Thursday are great for retail and consumer product or event launches as its leading up to weekend and drives people to stores to buy or festivals to celebrate..

That said... I'd be surprised if SONA put a release out tomorrow that is going to be STELLAR.  Not many in the markets, nor within C-Suite/Exec teams like to give up their weekend pitching media/press stories over the 2 day break before the "story gets stale."  And in today's world of Social media and instant breaking news ... stories get old quick.

If Sona puts the release out tomorrow, and it goes stale over the weekend.  Then I hope THRM gets their release out Monday AM and upstages Sona's "pre-mature release".  Monday would allow THRM to ensure/insure press and media have a fresh new fresh story  along with some PHENOMINAL test results ...  results the competition can't deliver against not willing to report on...

We'll see what happens.... good chance  a Wayne "Sona" Gretzky happens tomorrow... with possibly a  potential awesome chance that a Michael " THRM" Jordon launch next week early Monday morning.

Sona and thrm might be bith mothballed if UPI,S one minute light test gets approved, yikes a monster if it's true, everyother test would be redundant

You're doing a lot of pontificating. If you love Sona so much, why don't you marry it? lol
