Re: This Says It All

These are ALL of the rapid antigen tests directed by the Federal government to Ontario since the beginning of the pandemic. I can't imagine how much money has been wasted sending tests that couldn't meet the need or expectations.

For those who don't now think that AcuVid will not be a game changer ....accurate, easy to use, rapid, inexpensive to administer, forecasted to be inexpensive to purchase ....how many boxes need to be checked off???

Whats even more disturbing is the lack of already purchased tests... doesn't bode well if they can't use up the ones they have.. why would they buy more..???

So in terms of test use I'm not ...more

Even so, a more sensitive test that is mainly used to test people who have symptoms is going to let a lot of infected people through the cracks, including asymptomatic and people who don't feel a test is warranted because they only have slight symptoms.  A more affordable, quick and easy test, even if slightly less sensitive, if used as a matter of routine at schools, workplaces, borders ...more

There is the problem now.  People who do not wear masks and social distance You expect the same people to  test themselves 3 times a week and pay  for the test themselves. Slightly  lower sensistivity is all relative to the test  target. CT < 25 is like a 10 foot target hard to miss CT Ct  < 35      3 foot target   CT  > ...more
