Already several Canadian provinces are dropping all Public health measures.  Various US states are moving to "Covid doesn't exist" and are dropping measures.

Get this out ASAP, or you will miss the boat - it will be presented to a world who simply won't care any longer.

Where are the results?  where is the news?
Why has this taken so long - pandemic is almost endemic and the test still not approved.

You are completely wrong. There will be another variant and more waves. Rapid tests are the new thing, replacing PCr as they will show if you are contagous, even if not 100% that you have the virus. That is what people want before they go visit their 90 year old mother and potentially pass the virus that could kill her. Ontario will give out free COVID-19 rapid tests at grocery stores across the

I hope so Moose, but I don't like hearing news of provinces and other areas just 'getting over' it and abandoning PHMs; because over time, if there isn't a concern about Covid, the demand for testing will reduce.

As measures are reduced society will treat covid as a common cold.  Reality is current measures are quite ineffective as numbers continue to rise with lesser side effects.   Hospital numbers are dropping and icus are not as overwhelmed compared to previous months. I don't see covid simply ending it's definitely here to stay but it appears new variants are weaker than previous.
