NEWS - Two huge Copper Anomalies

Tiex - 700 x 2200 m and 900 x 2700 m Copper Anomaly Located By MMI Program

Tiex Inc. ("Tiex" or the "Company") (TSX-V: TIX) is pleased to announce the results of its Viewland - MMI soil sampling program. This project is located near the community of Horsefly, approximately 40 km north-northwest of the settlement of Horsefly and approximately 115 km northeast of the town of Williams Lake within the Cariboo Mining Division of British Columbia .

Tiex conducted a reconnaissance MMI soil geochemical survey to confirm the presence of several high copper soil anomalies from a historical conventional geochemical survey. The MMI soil data confirmed that a 700 x 2200 m and a 900 x 2700 m area are highly anomalous in copper. Response ratios for copper in these areas are generally above 10 times background with local highs more than 100 times background.

The area was originally staked by Utah Mines (later BHP Mining) in the mid 1980's to cover a 2 x 2.5 km aeromagnetic high. This was part of a regional exploration program to explore for porphyry copper deposits similar to the nearby Mount Polley deposit. Utah conducted a geochemical survey over the high aeromagnetic feature which was found to reflect the location of syenite to monzonite stocks that intrude Middle Triassic to Upper Triassic Nicola Group sedimentary rocks. The geochemical survey delineated several areas of anomalous high copper in soil (> 80 ppm) and these have been confirmed by MMI soil data collected by Tiex.

Tiex will move forward in the 2011 exploration season on a detailed airborne DigHem and magnetic survey followed up with an Induce Polarization survey. The geophysical data will be used in conjunction with the large geochemical soil data set to improve drill hole targeting.

Management is seeking a strategic alliance with major mining companies for the exploration and development of Tiex's gold/copper porphyry properties.

Stephen Wetherup, BSc. P.Geo the qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 is responsible for the technical information provided in this release.
