TIEX - COMMENCES AIRBORNE ELECTROMAGNETIC AND MAGNETIC SURVEY OVER CARIBOO GOLDFIELDS PROPERTY, CENTRAL BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADACanada NewsWireKELOWNA, BC, Feb. 25

Tiex Inc. has signed a 2,405-line-kilometre helicopter-borne DIGHEM frequency domain electromagnetic- and magnetic-survey contract with Fugro Airborne Surveys Corp. of Mississauga, Ont. The survey is to take place on the company's mineral property in the Quesnel trough area of the Cariboo Mining District of British Columbia.

This airborne survey is currently underway and consists of three main block of mineral tenures in the Gold Creek, Viewland and McKaygold areas within the sedimentary hosted gold and the Viewland porphyry copper-gold project areas of the Company's land package, (please click this link (https://files.newswire.ca/936/TIEX_Au_soil_map.JPG) to view the gold planning map of the survey, click on this link (https://files.newswire.ca/936/TIEX_Cu_soil_map.JPG) to view the copper planning map of the survey). These planning maps show the evaluation of the historical conventional geochemistry and mobile metal ion (MMI) geochemistry as well as the proposed airborne flight path. As stated by the Company Geoscientist, Stephen Wetherup, "the MMI does confirm the old conventional geochemistry and gives the Company the ability to more accurately select drill targets for its drill programs".

The survey commenced on February 13, 2011 on the Gold Creek block of mineral tenures and the entire survey as shown on the planning map is expected to be completed in two or three weeks depending on weather conditions. Results of the survey will be available to the Company on a daily bases.

Stephen Wetherup, BSc. P.Geo the qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 is responsible for the technical information provided in this release.
