Earnings

Hard to square these two statements.

"Tanker OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) data is signaling a retraction in growth for our CORE market segments, as the backlog and build times have normalized to pre-COVID rates."

"The Company continues to see increased demand for its core product line as Tanker OEMs remain at peak production capacity."

Unless they mean revenue for core line at a peak and declining?

Here's what gets my attention - tripled the Reasearch and development year over year coupled with increased profit.

"Product research and development expenses(1) increased by $743 to $1,115 in fiscal 2024 compared to $373 in fiscal 2023. The expenses incurred, support the Company's diversification and growth into new markets. The Company unveiled a strategic growth plan in fiscal 2023 focused on updating its core product line and diversifying its business."

I think it all makes sense. The core product line is the level guages for crude oil and oil-related waste. In that segment things are leveling off in terms of orders at OEMs. So, within that core segment, the market will soon (or even already) be NOT growing--i.e., Titan will only be able to have growth in that segment through growth in market share, which (it sounds like) is happening.
