TLD1433 and Conjunctive Melanoma (CM)

Wonder why no more mention of proving TLD1433 as a cure for CM. Was there a downside that maybe I missed? If not then CM should have been listed with the lung and brain cancers. A year and a half and I can't find anything new on CM and TLD1433. Did it progress from Zebra fish? Did the company ever promote this? Wonder why it went nowhere.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller

(I hope hockey starts soon...)

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32143295/

The research paper was pretty clear:

"Based on our results, we suggest repurposing of TLD1433 for treatment of incurable CM and further testing in alternative pre-clinical models."

It's not just melanoma. TLD1433 has been demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of numerous other types of cancer besides GBM and NSCLC. Unfortunately, Theralase has limited resources. Clinical trials are expensive and Theralase has so far only raised enough money to pay for the current phase 2 trial. I hope that one day Theralase, (or the company that buys Theralase), will be able to ...more

And looking at the dates it is always nice to know that there is never any urgency in resolving any of this cancer stuff. Not like a warp speed for a covid vaccine. But that's alright, cancer has been around for years -- it's effects in death and such are just considered normal, standard fare.
Comment by Pandora on Sep 20, 2021 7:42pm
And would anyone be surprised at seeing these numbers re vaccines: "VAERS has a record comparing data for Covid vaccines for the past 9 months and they compare those numbers to "all other" vaccines combined (28), for the past 31 years.   An example would be the number of deaths attributed to the Covid vaccines in 9 months is 14,925. This compares to 9001 deaths ...more

Eog, Very interesting summation there. It is such a human tragedy that all of these indications are just sitting there idly.I have always felt that the technology deserves to be in hands where there is ample money to futher adavance it.I think there was some kind of a deal in the works.Another poster had suggested this a bit ago.I will find it and bump it up

Makes on ewonder if these are marketing strategies. For now they are just papers with promising results. If there is real value in persuing these other indications then wouldn't someone with deep pockets jump in with both feet to cure cancer.  The conversation would probably go something like this: Me: Hi Elon, use you scientific brain and look at these results. It looks like we may ...more

Thanks  socks for that chuckle, that fictional list would be extremely long with perhaps names like IBM? Anyone else with names to contribute to this fictional list, please add your candidate.

Let's issue a challenge to Richard Branson and Elon Musk to compete in the race to beat cancer rather than the race to Mars. One picks TLT to pour resources into while the other baclks another promising horse. Appeal to their egos that they can be the person who cured cancer.

In further discussion of the financial situation it is very frustrating IMO. Every month that goes by the noose around the company"s neck tightens but yet as the trial progresses the value increases. As we run out of $$ the trail gets closer to BTD etc & that should really pop the value. We have to acknowledge that we need financial help some way however we sort of have a moving target ...more

Or it pops on news on results or partnerships....and warrants bring in cash. Seems like a manufactured concern.this money thing that certain posters keep bringing up

I agree 100%. There should be more than enough data alone in the next 3 to 4 months to get it to pop, maybe even in the next update.

Just my opinion in regards funding etc, however I do know there is very strong outsde interest in the virus killing abilities of 1433. I don't believe there will be a need for another PP financing as we now have a couple very valuable relationships with well healed enities we didn't have previously. A. The  Canadian gov's level 4 biolab is researching on the possibilities of a ...more

I agree 100% skys, we should be at the point by next year that when we need money the funds should be there for us.
Comment by patience69 on Sep 22, 2021 10:41am
I sure hope that you are right skys. It would be really nice to see them get a start on at least another couple of indications. We would get closer to winning with the disease and the value of our company would grow, I think we would need a share price of a couple of dollars to get all of the warrants exercised so lets hope that is soon. Maybe another round of good results in maybe a dozen ...more
