I was bummed when I first saw she was leaving S&B. Then I looked at the CR/PR data. TLT might not be able to afford to keep her on right now and it appears they will achieve BTD and AA without any problem as the optimized patient groups move through the trial. So maybe she has done her work?

No disrespect to Vera but most people here built their positions in TLT long before they, me for sure, even knew who she was. She may have fulfilled her duties for all we know and the short blurb surely doesn't explain why she left but negative speculation is never in short supply around here.

Maybe I am crazy & totally off the wall but did anyone ever consider the fact that maybe she was not ever really hired by Theralase. What if she was there to verify & dig into everything on behalf of a potential partner or buyout candidate. It would not be unreasonable to take that length of time to decide! Why did Theralase mention her leaving the company in a one liner couched within a paragraph in the release Monday that many of missed? I may be making a big deal about her leaving, because it is a big deal

I would like to know what all the smart guys have to say about Vera leaving. They have also not been too active with regards to opinions and analysis of the most recent results. I have no clue why Dr Vera has left, but the first idea, would be that she has completed her mission, which was to ensure the trial is well run and coordinated with all sites, as well as proper data collection and reporting IMO.  If she has met with all the parties involved and set up all necessary guidelines to follow, what more can she do?  The rest is follow the steps to BTD, AA and

I'll chime in here... For me, the sudden departure of Dr. Vera is, at the very least, unsettling. Her admission to the company in November, 2021 was met with such welcome and fanfare with statements by the CEO and the Board of Directors, as well as her own enthusiastic statements can only be juxtaposed by the sterile notice of her departure. Last post on the Vera departure. Many good reasons could explain why she is leaving without a big thank you in a NR. I'm not seeing it negatively. She has done her job and we are on track for BTD or a JV with deep pockets or other positive developments. GL
