Can someone give one or two examples of Canadian penny stocks that have actually succeeded big time?  My last two proved disastrous. Titan Medical and  Sona Nanotech. Just couldn't deliver.  Innovation didn't meet execution.   I also had a few rare earth stocks.  Ended up selling at a loss.  TLT will be my last investment in Canadian stocks, unless I come out ahead.  It's been over ten years of a lethargic and plodding  pulserate. They do seem to have the goods and seem ready to take off, but that's a story I've heard before.  Blind faith is for fools.

Rumpl3... Didn't buy into that. :).  Those guys always put out NRs about finding  big deposits in some foreign country.

One thing that TLT has always got going for it is the fact that the study investigators are in charge of the data and, as academic clinicians, have not interest in being part of some fraud. Granted TLT has done a great job of presenting the data in very confusiong graphs and tables over time. But never misled. Bre-ex was always a fraud. TLT is safe that way. Well most academics are honest you are sadly mistaken there's no risk that data isn't fudged. There's a lot at stake and pressure on them and there are many many cases of fraudulent publsihed research. I am not saying this is the case wiht TLT but saying academia never commits fraud is inaccurate.

You would need the coordinated efforts of 11 top urologists in order to fudge the data. These guys are doctors with cancer patients under their care. They would need to be comic book villains to deny them a treatment that could save their bladders.

Academics fudge lab data all the time. Especially when competing for lifetime tenure roles in universities.I have been involved in research in thyroid cancer and there is no skin in the game for fudging this kind of patient data for the clinician researchers.

From a stock price standpoint alone, to your point it does seem like something good shoudl happen eventually even if it's not a moonshot. As long as the clinical trial data doesn't take a turn for the worse for whatever reason, or as long as they haven't designed the trial incorrectly, etc, but it seems like they've been through most of those speedbumps and corrected as needed.

That's exactly my hope, Plantrader. Bad execution, and inability to generate excitement in the right circles is what worries me about stocks like these, despite the great science.  Yes, hope they've learned their lessons. Hope they make a solid case to the FDA. Maybe Eoga can help them state their numbers. God knows the world needs alternatives to BCG.

Keep in mind that one of the weird quirks of this stock is that RDW was put in penalty box for the last 5 years for excessive enthusiasm about TLT ( in this case, the likely success of a laser used by physio and chiropractors). If he were not in penalty box, he may have been out there doing the PR game a bit more. The most recent CEO is the lab and science guy who is clearly doing it as a

DjDawg, I hear you. But does he have the brand and oomph to go beyond the small TV shows and online interviews that a few hundred people watch or see?  Having a BTD would be the hammer to help him become Thor.  Got  carried away there, sorry.

who knows. SESN managed to get out there and get it's market cap up to 10xTLT with a 17% CR at 12m. One would hope that it wouldn't take a Norse god to do this effort..... Doesn't help that that the vast pool of US investors would be weary of an OTC stock.

Novagold I bought I think back in 2003 @ .25 cents then sold for something like $3. After then it went to like $19. If you have the goods they will come.  Anyone can buy TLT for under .30 cents.  Who here wouldn't like to see it hit $19 ?
