I have to say I am upset, 10 million seems too much in 2024,

I feel that they are not confident to get BTD this year, this is why they need so much fund.

Could be, or it could be that they finally want to start progressing on some of the other indications. Maybe specifically because they see that being a one trick pony is not working out very well so far. Counting on BTD being the launching pad for all things has been the opposite of fruitful so far.
