I had an email exchange with Matthew. Coles notes is we raised just over $500K and are still on track for Pre BTD this month. With regards to the $10 million limit of last PP, here is his reply: We have multiple $10M+ interested investors at varying levels of interest, they will likely do an offering on there own, but we set the limit of this private placement for up to $10M due to securities

So unless there is something more to the inevitable NR about the 500 k, this is how TLT typically would play out. Share priced drifts 0.16-0.2. Whenever up to 0.2 expect some big dumps as accred people offload and build up for the next PP buy The only risk to the accred people is if they announce some source of cash that won't need PP then those accred people would likely pile back on

Great work by Cain. The financing talk is nice but the biggest thing is that pre-BTD is on schedule for this month, getting BTD solves everything financially.

Steven, RE your statement that "getting BTD solves everything financially."   BTD will be nice, but they need AA to be able to charge for their treatment and begin generating revenues even during the clinical trial. The FDA is being extra cautious because of their recent (2016-2021) experience of granting BTD and AA based on preliminary and unverified data, then having to

By financially I just meant that if there are multiple people waiting to invest $10+ million they would be waiting for BTD. Just a guess on my part but I think that is exactly what they are waiting for. It's one thing to throw in $100-200K in a PP, still not chicken feed, vs a larger amount like $10 million.

So the gist of it is that they want some money in the bank before they negotiate with these bigger $10M investment firms. $500K is way better than what they got last time. That is huge... 1) It does imply that financing is not a problem. 2) It is almost as if TLT is saying, they could possibly do a few $500K financing, until they get  the FDA BTD approval, and thus limiting dillution. It's intriguing, having potential 10 mill plus investors sniffing around. If it were me, I'd at least want to see that pre BTD has been accepted by the FDA, seems obvious right. Then the purse strings may open up. BTD altogether, well that's even easier to empty the piggy bank.

If the money is not in Theralase's bank account, 'multiple $10M+ interested investors' means little to me. If BTD is granted, no problem, but if for whatever reason it is not, we will be screwed. I don't know where the strategy comes from (either TLT preferring to negotiate better terms after BTD or investor wanting in after BTD derisking) but facing this moment without a big

The word shortly imply that TLT is seriously working on a deal, and we could be seeing news on this deal before long(if achieved). Interesting...

Unless we get a significant share price increase on either the BTD submission or another catalyst like herpes vaccine, I hope our funding comes in the form of government grants or debt. $10 million would get 20 - 25% of the company at current prices. Yes I do know how hard/risky it is to get loans without revenue but hopefully our revenue will soon follow.
