Government grant/loans...maybe before year end....????

In all the previous updates, there was never a direct mention of a government program(grants/loans).

All of a sudden in a MP send to investors, TLT said...
'' Receiving approval for a Government program that could assist with our capitalization objective, this decision could come at any time between now and the end of the year''.

And now in the last earning update...

'' The Company plans to raise approximately CAD$10 million in debt and/or equity instruments and government programs in the form of grant and loans to become shelf eligible(first time ever a direct mention of a Government grant/loans is made in an update)''.

Coincidence...????
These comments on Government programs grants/loans started to appear after this study by Dr. M. Coombs (University Of Manitoba, Medical and infectious disease) was published ...June 2024.

All the above could be coincidences...But a Government grant/loans (even a very small one ) could be interpreted by investors as a good omen, and a proof that a team of Government scientists that evaluated the data provided by Dr M.Coombs came to the conclusion, that TLT compound(TLD-1433) has great virus and vaccine potential.
If a small grant/loans is approved and results are concluant, bigger grant/loans coud come later.

We could find out shortly(maybe before year end).

Canada has truckloads of money for foreign companies to produce batteries and such. A cure for cancer? I guess they will need to debate that. Busy right now cutting taxes on Christmas trees so cancer might  have to wait.

I'm sure I'm wrong but the back recesses of my memory seem to suggest that a few companies I have owned that were shelf eligible in the past  did not fair well share pricewise.

Once this runs, its not looking back, im looking to create wealth, buying a new boat, buying hunting land,paying grandkids college, trying to get to 2,000,000 shares before the run, biggest issue is going to be capital gains with these new shares, most shares are well over year owned, getting close, please deliver Roger, we have the science!!! It's coming.   With 39,000 shares a new home would be nice and pay off some debt.   Nothing crazy I will get taxed almost 42 percent on short term gains....yikes.   that's wild just to say out loud.

Just for speculation, how big could such a grant be? If it happens this year, next week looks good to me. But need to see it first to believe it. Q1 should be exciting. Ithink I will have to make it with the ones I have, but you guys with 6 figure amounts will be experiencing nirvana if the right news comes. If money comes in to make the company able to start more trials, that is when I think we

bmk211 your shares should be tucked into your TSFA acct.If you have room transfer this year ,if not do it in the new year before it runs.I have a similar amount and that is were they sit.

I don't think here in the states we have a tax free savings option unfortunately...

Yes you can transfer stocks from ira to Roth ira in US. No limit on how much you can transfer BUT you pay taxes on the total amount transferred. I have transferred alot of stock from ira to Roth ira. I'd rather pay tax on these depressed prices than where they are likely to be going forward.
