Why TM?

Came across TM from the CMMC board.  
This company has had a long history and hasn't done anything significant in years.
If you read the interview with the then CEO in 2015, he said they'd be in production in a few years.  
Why are people optimistic now?  Besides the CU price rise, which helps, why can the project move forward now?  How much would they need to put it into operaton and how would they fund it?  That kind of info is totally lacking.
Is Jed really the CEO to make this happen?  From what I see, he doesn't have a CU background.
A speculative play at best.
i've won on some and lost on others.  
I enjoyed Old Gold's video, but wonder if he's really that experienced or just a PR guy.
I'm not trying to be negative, just get more info on why now?

I appreciate your feedback and it's probably worth taking a bet, primarily because of the higher CU price, which might kick things into gear. But it remains unclear to me how much money they need to put the operations back into operation and how fast this can be achieved.  Personally, I'm ambivalent when E. Sprott invests.  He often demands (and gets) sweetheart terms, and

Without Eric Sprott investing in company and his daughter on board mgmt I would not buy this stock, this info was crucial for me It has potential ,this cant be denied, new people running company, big resource, mill already on property, little investment and making nice cash Share price can go up 20-30 % a day,  200-300% in a week, and at this price excellent entry point I think in Q1-Q2 all
