wondering why

looks like someone from TD is dumped a boatload this morning......they will be sorry imho, this is just the beginning of a great run.....

Probably an insider. They're the ones who usually drop big market sell order bombs like this.
Comment by MaestroOfTMG on Feb 02, 2024 11:49am
There's no mystery about why it's dropping. Simple, they just don't do a good job of planning their news to be consecutive. They continue to fail to execute a proper and sustained promotion to the markets. They also continue to not announce smaller deals even though they are meaningful. Very very poor IR strategy. Here we were buying like crazy, getting ready for the promised flow of ...more

Trouble is, 'Bill can't '' make the P/R's public  untill all the I's are dotted , and T's crossed.  This business can be ''funky'',with just one or two little wrinkles before the contract is finalized, even after the work is complete. ----------- What  the CEO ,  ''COULD'' be doing, is engaging a decent capital company  ...more

Like every bozo in this boat , you are just guessing . The tape says the very large board lots are being gobbled up as fast as they appear.

Or you could go to TSX , search tmg , click on overview , click on trade history . You there can see whom is the seller and buyer and the time stamp . Happy ground hog day also known as the middle of winter .

At the risk of asking you to spoon feed everyone here you call a bozo, who sold 11,000 shares at 13:06 through Anonymous?

I include my self as well as All the others in this trading group in this boat . The only ones that Know what's going on are on the executive board . Any who thinks otherwise is delusional.

I bet there will be a news release after today's market close or before the market open on next Monday.
Comment by Mostlyserious on Feb 02, 2024 2:29pm
Based on the trading and selling pressure as opposed to buying pressure, I am presuming you are betting on some not so good news.  I don't see what that news could be at this time. Someone decided to sell, may have spooked others, some stepped up to acquire shares at levels that maybe they didn't expect, and that's my take. Things will continue being volatile.  NRs sooner ...more

I bet positive news.
Comment by Mostlyserious on Feb 02, 2024 3:53pm
No way.  He can't buy just before positive news. But it is very bullish to see him having so many shares and buying quite a bit at these levels when last ones where under a nickel. Very bullish!  Maybe we will see a buck sooner than later!  lol!

If he can buy before earnings release . He can buy before good news .
Comment by ramman1 on Feb 02, 2024 4:58pm
Crosslands buy today of  shares was a straight aquisition in the market,at market prices ,  NOT an excersise of options. ------He can buy and sell whenever he wants .-----AND how can any news (when it comes) ,''not be good'' .Over 23 million order backlog , ''behind pipe'',in just 8 months , 45-50% gross profit margins, staff   ,(sales and R& ...more

Fact check:  the filing was made today but purchases were made over the previous three days. insider trading rules prohibit insiders from transacting whenever they want. But I agree, the fact that Crossland was buying shares on the open market and not exercising options even though he has tons in the money is VERY bullish, especially since he has not done so very often, I can't recall ...more

There are some regulatory guidelines and then companies (those with stronger governance) develop their own policies.  Please give an example of buying before an earnings release.  Theoretically every purchase is before some earnings release but if you are suggesting he bought days or a couple of weeks before an earnings release, I am calling BS.
Comment by Canwes1 on Feb 02, 2024 5:08pm
Martha Stewart thought buying and selling 'whenever she wanted' was fine too.
Comment by Mostlyserious on Feb 02, 2024 5:33pm
And M. Stewart was not running the company whose shares she sold.  Her friend ran it.
Comment by greendaze on Feb 02, 2024 6:02pm
Martha was not convicted for insider trading . She was convicted for lying to the court about it . Big difference.
Comment by greendaze on Feb 02, 2024 6:04pm
Any person that thinks bill is stupid enough to break the law is a moron .
Comment by panapple42 on Feb 02, 2024 7:46pm
Exactly, Mr. Green
Comment by Mostlyserious on Feb 02, 2024 7:47pm
So why did you make a suggestion making it sound like he could or he bought relatively close to the earnings release.  I know your wording does not state so but the context of that discussion certainly does. And yes, M. Stewart was found guilty of obstructing justice and lying to investigators.  Her broker assisted with the sales of shares timing.  Not sure what would have happened ...more

But you are still planning to make the "train", leave the station aren't you? Maybe a little more patience is in order. Don't lead with fear.
