I did not think I was defending him.  Just interpreting that "sell when you have to" means "I made enough on this trade that I just have to take the profit". Some may be under the wrong impression that he is a buy-and-hold kind of an investor.  That's what he wants us to be.  But I thought this is pretty clear by anyone that has been around for awhile. All
