shorts caught napping I guess.  Or someone else?

1.54 million ( consolidated) shares traded so far today . See TMX . I don't think it is just shorters . I'm thinking bargain hunters .

Every share bought is a share sold. When the share price goes lower, that means it is a sellers' day. Impatient are driving the action today, this is not the kind of news release that anyone was really waiting for.  Nice rehash of the last fiscal year, but it is a month and a half following the end of the year.  New info, order intake just under a million for May...and this is a ...more

Baloney ..! We got the informational update we were waiting for.! All key numbers are UP.!!!!   Backlog supports workforce. BEI is filling the custom install needs like never before. Small businesses are buying high margin traps in great volume. Large install will be the gravy that pushes TEI sales above 30 M. Loading up is inexpensive today because the penny ...more

Right on the money Prone ! Let's hope this post isn't flagged and removed as so many have been .

Not sure what you mean when you say all indicators are up ??. --The only thing talked about in the entire release is the ''order intake'', which YES, is looking good. ----Not a single word about revenues, or about job completions dates. These order  intakes  look good,'no doubt'', however, there is no details given whatsoever ,and could take years to complete. ...more

As mentioned, a few 8 figure deals could alleviate our woes.  Is not the sales team bigger than ever? There seems to be some shakeout occuring here, with backing. Interesting.
Comment by ramman1 on Jul 16, 2024 7:01pm
9 New employees (sales staff) ? ,  Double the size of the GEM trap facility,,new tooling equipment , and a 9% increase in order intakes value  over 1 yr.  ????, does not make sense .---Maybe a large contract around the corner ??, still very possible.-----   Looks like we could still see a .18-.20 financing in the works ,as I figured could happen .
Comment by Mostlyserious on Jul 17, 2024 11:13am
Most of the projects (bigger ones that take longer versus the custom equipment delivery) get completed within a 9 to 12 month period, really big ones up to 18 months  Having had no significant project announcements since the end of May, you can pretty well bank on the majority if not all of the "backlog" being delivered and billed to the client in the current fiscal year.  So,  ...more

You are absolutely correct my friend. The results could take 9-12 months, OR, they could take 18 months , OR they could take years. Some guidence on the time frames, if only general in nature, IS PRECISELY the type of things lacking in the P/R. Stock did not drop 14% because there is no work going on in the company,. It dropped once again by lousy guidence ,2nd time in a matter of months ...more

Let me try this again. Historically, the vast majority of the projects were completed between a few months (custom equipment) up to 18 months.   Most sales news releases indicate the time frame: - May 6/24:  "within nine months" - Jan 17/24: "within the next 12 months" - Jan 10/24: "within the next 6 months" - Dec 7/23: "within 12 months"  ...more

You're absolutely right ,it's called communication ,my friend . --I don't give a rat's behind how long it takes for each contract to be completed, ''the sooner the better of course''. Hopefully you can understand that fact .--I don't even have a big  issue with a lousy P/R , as I bought more at .22 .----  Trouble is ,and you might not know this ' ...more

The problem here is the age old problem 9f greed and fear. So much fear mongering when things are actually going well. The Fall is always a tome when contracts flow on a more regular basis. The stock price will go up as a reflection of that. It may take a bit more time, to hit 45 cents plus,  ut it will get there.
Comment by panapple42 on Jul 17, 2024 8:20pm
Ask yourself:  How many are fear mongering on this board?    Is the recent trading natural?  Is it manipulation? Why would anyone want the price capped down here?  What is the real motive and who is behind it?
Comment by Mostlyserious on Jul 17, 2024 9:08pm
I didn't ask myself but my first reaction to all of your questions is "I don't know".
Comment by panapple42 on Jul 17, 2024 8:21pm
Exactly my point.
Comment by Mostlyserious on Jul 17, 2024 9:13pm
R, but do you agree that your speculation that projects may take "years" to complete is unfounded based on....let's not call them "facts"...but communication in every contract news release as to the expectation of "within" a certain timeframe, that is never "years"? That's part of communication that you thought was missing.
Comment by ramman1 on Jul 17, 2024 9:32pm
''Years', the quote , may be , and hopefully is ::  A little on the long side .-----------Point  is : As an operator for 33 years  in power plants , ''don't fixate yourself on timelines''. ---Many planned maintenance outages within a plant are completed (on time) , how-ever ,very few  new additions via construction and significant changes in ...more

Price went up 18 percent over a couple of days before it went down 14 percent. Market does not react the way you think it should, certainly not for microcaps that only few know of. i hear what you are saying but revenue guidance is not a regular occurrence with these small companies and that is not why our share price is suffering.  Guidance for two years out would be more meaningful ...more

Would agree with you Mostlyserious. One or 2 days does not a true rally make. However, that buying binge over that short period certainly looked convincing, -at least to me. Then the PR hosed down that fire most effectively. I can only assume that most of the time management is oblivious to the goings on of the share price except of course if they were considering a financing  or at year end ...more

Fergus, the scary part is that maybe they thought that was a strong news release.  Maybe a little bit of a disconnect with what we would like to see. But agree that this dip on a bit more volume may be an opportunity to buy or add more, if you don't have "enough".
Comment by fergus2 on Jul 18, 2024 5:58pm
Mostlyserious, I just saw your reply now. Totally agree, management definitely thought it was a strong news release. As to your other comment: For many of us, not having "enough" is a powerful motivator and I am in that camp right now. Ha. Oh the joys of capitalism. Many will look back and and say that today was the start of the move up, but I'm totally convinced it was a few days ...more

One must realize that( ''time is just a variable')'.---  Whether a contract is completed in a certain time frame meens very little ..---Labour issues, environmental questions, third party  issues, and the contract being adjusted with additions/deletions are all just some of the things changing the completion of a contract.--(The issue here is very simple)::  Guide ...more

Prone....that post is right on, TMG is running on all cylinders, there is hardly a company in the world that is going to have big quarters every quarter.....year end results is big to me, unfortunately the investment world seems to only look at quarters now......it is still nice to see all these record numbers....I cant wait for the rest of the summer and fall, it should be a great ride.......
