This was such a no brainer . Hence I was laughing so hard at folks that wanted a move to TO . I'm still grinning about it . I'd like to see lobbying on our behalf in Brussels .

TEI being in Ottawa is a "no brainer" because an Ottawa group called Invest Ottawa tries to attract business opportunities for Ottawa businesses? You don't think other cities don't have similar groups and initiatives? If TO didn't have one, then it would be because they have businesses flocking to it without needing to advertise. It was responsible for sales of 3.8MM in FY24. Even sales in the Netherlands were 1.9MM which were higher than the sales in Canada of 1.5MM. As Bill often mentions, the company doesn't need any new clients. The existing ...more

TEI grew into its current sales areas (Ireland etc) for a lot of reasons. Everything has helped. Carbon tax helps, regulations help, LNG prices helps, competition and inflation helps.  As do floods and fires.
