Yet another waste of money and spreading of lies event. TMG has NOTHING and is going NOWHERE!
Comment by stockpickman on Dec 19, 2024 1:24pm
The outlook for TMG is so very promising as most that follow this stock know what is to come. I don't understand why everytime a contract is announced the past year, the stock price goes down. Maybe TMG could be doing a bit better, but they are well holding their own with decent financials. Of course this is not Microsoft or Apple, but TMG is profitable and seems to be firing on all ...more

Too much to unpack here in relation to the fair value of TMG but I could definitely say that Simply Wallstreet does not credible analysis of any stocks' value.  Based on what we know, and what they know, there is not enough or the available information does not warrant a $180 million market cap.  Not saying that TMG cannot be worth that one day, but certainly not today, especially if ...more

Looks like someone just did a "Beirut Unload" of their position.

Sadly, some can actually crystalize tax losses for the last year.  A disappointing one for many for sure. What one could consider a contract highlight for the year, it happened with only two weeks left. 2025 has to be better, hard to imagine that it could be worse given the enthusiasm about the future expressed in corporate presentations.  So, the next few days may prove to be a good ...more

As you probably know, Bill's favourite yardstick of good value for potential acquisitions is 1 X sales. That's basically close to where we're sitting right now. If FY sales come in at around the 27 - 30 million range, that would give a 1 X sales share price range of around 16 - 18 cents. Pretty decent value considering how expensive some of the other things out there are.

But that would be very poor performance by the board and the executives for its shareholders.  Have to do better, plain and simple.  Crossland highest watermark is a momentary 35 cents. Previous CEOs had a much higherwater mark after less time and less resources, and as you mention, how expensive some other things are out there, I am guessing a general comment on those companies with ...more

It's definitely poor performance. I was thinking more along the line that if Bill thinks that buying another company at one times sales is a good deal, it stands to reason that others should be looking at TEI thinking that TEI represents a good deal now that it has been beaten down to one times sales. They will certainly have to do something with the share price if they still plan on doing an ...more

Private versus publicly listed company valuations are viewed quite differently, thankfully. I would rather see them do better in growing the business organically than through an acqusition, simply because i think at this point such growth should be lower-hanging fruit.  I don't have confidence that they can do what could be done with an acquisition fast enough to start really benefiting ...more

Looks like someone just did a "Beirut Unload" of their position. Anonymous has been a big player all week long, mostly selling but today mostly buying I wish the TMX would show if the manipulative trades were done by the same person....I assume that would help stop all the manipulation we see going on daily with this and many other stocks......it would not be hard to do with all the ...more
