800 000 shares of insiderselling last few days!
Guptas sold 400k
Gavriel State sold 400k
https://canadianinsider.com/node/7?menu_tickersearch=Tng
Also see sedi.ca as canadianinsider only shows 10 latest sales.
Looks like management locks in profit here.
Its likely that they will continue filing sells in coming days, they are not reporting the same day as their transactions.

Lol. Over 29 million shares traded on Jan 8 and Jan 9. Gavriel and Vikas combined for selling 800,000 shares Thats 2.8% of the total volume. Not enough for me to worry about. Besides, I take no issue with insiders selling a FRACTION of their holdings. After all, they're allowed to make some money too.

I agree that even management/insiders must sell shares from time to time, but , the CEO & President as well as the founder of the company selling as the company is starting to take off. How can that be interpreted as shareholder friendly?

P.S. This is not the news I expected.

Insider selling always has bad optics when the stock is moving in either direction. However, it is a function of the market. Besides, I always like to consider not so much what they sold but what they continue to hold. If the insider selling trend continues and becomes a consistent pattern, I would be leery @ that time. I'm watchful now.

Do posters still expect good news today? I wouldn't think so. Blackout period should mean no news for a while? Doesn't management selling indicate that they believe the company has hit its high; at least for the time being?

I agree, to keep a watchful eye. However, I have seen with other companies where there was insider selling and the next day a joint venture or financing.

Last comment on this for now, I'll wait to see what the market says. The CEO sells on the day that the stock hit its 52 week high.

They did not sell at high .54....they sold it around . 41 cents.. They all need some extra cash.....it doesn't matter. Point here is howmany shares they still hold. They still hold million shares.
