Take over statement

This was a statement Gupta made little while back regarding takeover bid.

I believe that before we become a big big company we will be taken out,” he says. Gupta explained his reasoning.
“Our technology platform has very nicely converged with the emergence of new devices and new technology standards in the marketplace today. When you look at all these new devices, they are utilizing technologies that are an ideal fit and fully compatible with the platform we have developed, and that helps migrate content. Our platform is disruptive given that we are converging with the new standards of all emerging devices and platforms.”
Gupta says no negotiations are currently underway, but over the past twelve to eighteen TransGaming has had strong interest from a number of a numbers of large, global corporations.

wasn't aware of this statement thank you for sharing it. it makes sense then why he has given "away" the perpetual licensing the way it has been done to people like google. maybe that was his end game all along and he is putting the pieces into place to keep the tech fresh and new so that it is more or less a turn key business that has been built up. but it would still be good to see ...more

They have a long row to hoe before anyone would want to acquire them. A buyer would pay a slight premium, maybe 30% above the current share price, so be careful what you wish for. At this point I am hoping they can make enough from publishing games to just keep the lights turned on. This stock will be under heavy selling pressure if it ever starts to rise, since almost all current shareholders ...more

The fools are those who are selling or have sold,to think that TNG has secured a mass corner in the smart-tv market and nothing will come out of this is trully insane, just that alone is worth millions, bet there are many companies drooling over the potential rights for this smart-tv gaming corner.

I don't think gametree will amount to anything and within a few years they will throw in the towel on it. The focus will be on portability and publishing.

Yo yyz... Could you imagine yourself or anyone living with this village idiot? You got to wonder what kind of dinner time discussions this guy is having with his family. "Shut up. I am right. You are wrong." Must be heard quite often. No wonder his kid eloped. Just ignore the simpleton. If you don't, this thread might live forever.

DD-how far across the continent did you have to go thru an online registery to get someone to nod their head to say..."sure...I guess...yeah I do...my village is starving anyways" thru an interperter to the Justice of the Peace-to actually find a bride? Yakazz-answer the question-what makes you compelled in the case of Transgaming to present its revenue as being "unimportant" and its top line growth as ""important"? when the are both one and the same? Surely you can come up with some rationalization given how many times you have done so in the past? Now either get back to waiting on tables and hoping for a tip or ...more

Just a warning to all sellers, penny flippers hanging around this board selling small amounts of shares and trying to lower  share  prices in order to make the regular investor to sell and flee ,panic in order to pick up your discount shares, seller beware.

TNG is a long ways from being a viable business; overpaid bums, what incentive is there to make money when you're alread making a quarter million a year to lose money? Every new financing is just to pay salaries - this is how the venture exchange rolls.

Every new financing is just to pay salaries - this is how the venture exchange rolls. Nicely stated AB_ORT. Gupta has been playing the game for almost nine years. That's the reason, Transgaming will never move to the TSX with it's much higher level of scrutiny.

Many successful companies play the exact same "game". So that's not the reason for TransGaming being unsucessful. It's fine to use venture capital just to pay salaries, iff they're creating new products that will result in growth.
