Pumpers and Bashers....

A lot of talk on this thread is about pumping and bashing.

90% of the time the guys that bash a stock are guys that owned it previouly (usually close to the highs) and don't have much money currently so they want to be a part of things and attack the stock that they feel cost them so much. That way they can feel like they are still part of things. They also go after other stocks because NOW their reason for being online is to be "investigative reporters". They weren't successful as stock traders so now they will be successful as stock investigators and reporters.

As far as pumpers go, some guys make their living pumping stocks. They look for a stock that's ripe for a pump, get in early and pump away. Unlike bashers, pumpers usually work as a "group". You quite often see the same 4 or 5 guys show up on a hot stock thread.

I bought Transgaming originally because I saw it trading volume and it seemed to be in a sector that was capable of large gains over short periods. I bought more subsequently because the stock seemed relitively immune from outside market forces. Which makes sense when you think about it. Guys that play games in a good economy are probably going to play MORE games in a bad economy. Guys that play games are probably going to play more games if they aren't working.

I've looked at TNG's books and they don't look that good. The thing is, if you were a creditor of TNG would you rather drive them into bankrutcy and get very little or give them more leeway and try to get ALL your money back? I'd vote for the latter. The fact that TNG seems to be concentrating more on the CORE business and expanding to more and more users seems a good thing. I also think that this has excelerated since the blowhard Gupta left the scene.

Regarding consolidation....I think that's a possibilty. BUT, if TNG consolidated I think it would be a more compelling buy after a certain period of contraction. If they did a 1-5 consolidation then I'd wait and hope they dropped to .22 or so and then jump in big time.

I've been reading this thread and I haven't seen anyone make a case that Transgaming's technology isn't any good. Everybody talks about their cash position and a possible consolidation. I can live with those two things and buy more TNG.

Bob well said. The business case for Transgaming I elaborated upon in great detail between November 1013 whenI first entered the stock at .155 average cost and it ballooned to mid .50's and if i recall even hit .60 markers 2mths after I bought in on the SmartTV deal announcements of early Jan 2014 and I was lucky enough to sell some of my position at a 400% profit nearly and remove my own ...more
