Barry Olson is a petroleum engineer with more than 30 years of executive experience and industry leadership. Throughout his extensive career, he’s held various increasingly senior management roles in major and junior oil and gas companies. Most recently, Barry was responsible for building the upstream strategy and asset base for a proposed west coast LNG facility for a major offshore conglomerate. Prior to that, he was the founder, president and CEO of Orleans Energy Ltd, a TSX-listed company that grew to 4,700 boepd prior to merging with RMP Energy in 2011. Since then, the existing platform has grown to more than 12,500 boepd in the highly successful Ante Creek Montney light oil play.
