a sneaking suspicion

I have been watching the trades over the last week or so and have come to the conclution that somebody is quietly taking a large position waiting for the NEWS on Sona. Does the company have to disclose if they are buying back stock?

Good observation, certainly lots of buying to soak up the stock that was being sold, great to see.

They wouldn't have to announce they're buying back shares if they had previously announced their intention to do so. I can't remember what it's called, but a company can announce their general intention to repurchase up to X amount of shares and then they have freedom to do it when they wish.

Share buyback it's called, I don't think this is the case rather new investors buying who are looking at the story and the holdings and the apparent large discount to current NAV based on known Q1 holdings and move in SONA. Certainly exciting times!
