Merger OR Buyout of TRL by Macquarie Asset Management?

Macquarie Asset Management purchased Orcon for $3,5 billion a few months ago.  Vocus NZ had 226,000 broadband customers last year, making it the third-largest player in the fixed-line market after Spark and Vodafone New Zealand, and is the fourth largest telco overall, after 2degrees.
So what could 2degrees fetch??  IMO, thses "merger" talks will lead to a buyout so that Orcon could manage these assets as they please, without a partner.  TRL management are deal makers.  They will indeed sell IF the price is right (aka: high).  They are not emotially attached to any asset and love to flip for a profit.  Expect the unexpected here!  Could get a nice pleasant surprise, stay tuned.
