RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Shorts

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:ShortsLong overdue reply here, but take a look at this brief summary of the keynote address by the president of Botswana at their recent Mining Indaba 2021 (https://www.miningweekly.com/article/botswana-intensifying-effort-to-attract-non-diamond-exploration-2021-02-03).  The original impetus for the Trans-Kalahari Railway was to get Botswana coal reserves to Walvis Bay, but the recovery (and now surge) in iron prices has added a huge new value to the TKR and to any other infrastructure issues needed for Botswana to address in order to do what President Masisi says they are now focussed on.  Given the focus indicated by his keynote address, it is not conceivable that Botswana is not taking a good look at the only proven iron deposit they have.  And given Botswana's message to the industry that they are inviting mining companies to come to Botswana and participate in the development, it seems likely that the Botswana government is not the only one who will be (or already is) looking at TSD.  And recall also that TSD has very good prospects for high-value copper reserves that have not been fully explored.  Don't know where this will end up, but things seem to be lining up very well for 2021.
