World's top 10 gold projects

This article lists the largest gold projects in the world.

Take a look at the graphic.

Many of these projects are located in uncertain jurisdictions. A look at the grades also shows that Treaty Creek is absolutely competitive at 0.7-0.8 g/t.

But you can also see what a huge dimension Tudor's 27.3 MOZ AuEq is...and it is an initial resource !

This is my first Exploration company I ever bought into. I have only bought the miners with ref. to Gold. My question is: How can a share price go down with a proven maiden resource in the ground which is like having cash in the ground. I understand it can with POG but to this extent ? I just dont get the fluctuation with having the proven resource.
Comment by goldanalyst on Mar 27, 2021 9:04am
I think you need to remember that not all ounces in the ground are the same. Treaty Creek has enough ounces however because the grade is so low the ROI is too long for most majors to risk executing an offer. Majors are ok with low grade deposits provided that there is a near surface high grade pocket (2-3 million ounces) that they can mine first so that they can mitigate risk and reduce the ...more

You have a small error in thinking. The 300 Horizon is by no means low grade as you write here. I have participated in the rise of Osisko from 10 cents to 10 dollars. and can therefore compare the numbers very well. You already have a little idea as your post shows, but you have not dealt enough with Tudor Gold. At Tudor you can easily mine more than 10 years of high grades using the open pit ...more

Why is Newmont investing nearly CAD 500 million for a project with nearly 10 million MOZ Au and only 0.36 g/t? What about the Horizon 300 zone?    Unlike our neighbor Seabridge, the capex for Treaty Creek should be at a low level? Fact is that Tudor hat substantially de-risiked its Treaty Creek project thanks to the impressiv initial resources of 27.3 MOZ AuEq (of which 19.4 MOZ ...more

Nonsense....come back and remind me when they get a mine built here at Treaty Creek....if I'm still alive....unless gold is trading materially higher....don't compare this with osisko....you're just exposing your lack of understanding when you do.

So...basically you're saying Walter Storm, Ken Konkin and Eric Sprott are full of grunt....and they all seem pretty ecstatic about the results. SA...this is our FIRST documentation. I guess the difference is I pay a lot for knowledge and I trust my source 200%. When my source tells me he would own TUD if he legally could and then I have a stranger who shows up as there's a price drop ...more

Freudian slip...." when they build a mine HERE AT TREATY CREAK" so you're local to the location...have you been drilling holes for the MTT?
Comment by flashcash on Mar 29, 2021 4:47pm
You are correct it can't be compared with Osisko because we will be much bigger !
Comment by alpha74 on Mar 29, 2021 4:59pm
Who says Tudor has to build a mine on TC itself? I am an investor and would like to make as much money as possible with a stock. With gold stocks, the life cycle is crucial. The "discovery" phase is very lucrative, and there are very often large price increases. Tudor is in the middle of this phase. Even with Goldstorm, the edges have not yet been found. PS2 and Eureka are still ...more

You are absolutely right Alpha74. After this season the size will increase a lot and Walter, who is already 86 or so won't wait too long with Eric to sell this property when the time come , or one piece at the time. Remember Eric plan is to take like Seabridge at the time 1 Dollard to 35 dollards then move out to another Junior prospect. Can't wait for the drilling plans for this season& ...more

Hello Fordster. No this is what I think and hope by the end of this season that it is big enough for the big whale to start a bidding war on this Land .

Wasn't it Kelvin that said " whale fish have been circling around " ?

Hello Rusty . Yes he did say this also in one of his vedeo last year  GLTA

Hey Cobra When you say the end of the season , do you mean Nov-Dec?
Comment by CobraShelby on Mar 31, 2021 4:51pm
Hello C.A. I mean by the end of the season when we have the Final Size at Goldstorm.  As per Kelvin in one of his video the magntic survey done and it as been accurate so far could extend another 1600 meters north east . Gold storm could end up easily over 40 Million + of ounces alone. Also the drilling of PSZ witch I name King Kong Zone ,a Giant cube of 3 km by 3km by 3 km  ...more

Thanks for your insight Cobra. question : what factors would make the market react differently to 40 mil ounces as it snobbed the 27 mil ounces  and our price actually dropped ? im a novice looking for insight  kudos
Comment by rusty111 on Mar 31, 2021 8:08pm
Actually you laid it out pretty good in that last post, thx. I was just a bit dumbfounded by how the 27 mil ounces was received. Wait n c kudos

Hello Rusty . The price drop was really a deception for me also after our first maiden resource of 27.3 M . Been waiting for 10 years for AMK and 6 years now with Tudor. The market drop for all gold play recently because of the Or price going down recently. Getting the resource growing on Goldstorm and PSZ and Eureka this year can only help us in a buy out at least this what I am hoping for ...more

goldanalyst, if you are out and have sold all your stock and have the view that there is no further opportunity here, then why are you following this discussion board and taking time to post here? I call bullsheet. You have your own bias and agenda at work here. You have also not acknowledged the surface portion of the Treaty deposit, the 300, which is substantial and far exceeds your own 2-3 ...more

Goldanalyst - you do make several good points. The market has met the three amigos with a relatively muted response since the resource estimate, and I do believe it is because of the relatively low grade gold. With that being said, drilling on Eureka and the Perfect Storm will continue to expand the resource, likely towards 40 million ounces. Also, the grades on Perfect Storm are likely to be ...more

Then Seabridge has never stood a chance of even "launching" especially with the capx and all their added expenses. I look to the the smart money...there's a whole group out there pushing Seabridge as the next huge mine...but there's a new kid with better conditions...better grades, larger, lower costs and easier logistics...BTW I like our "smart money" far better. 2 ...more

45rpm....I'd give you 10 thumbs ups if I could...it's like the constitution....certain things are so "self evident" To argue against it is just silly. Stockpicks96, I respectfully disagree with your comment about the market not reacting to the Tudor resource news because of the "relatively low grade". The market hasn't reacted to much at all right across the junior sector since January, including many positive news releases from many companies. Had this Treaty resource number come out several months prior, the reaction most likely ...more

Lithium - I appreciate the respectful rebuttal to my comment. I tried hard to word it in such a way that I wouldn't be labelled a basher, because I am not. CanadianAnimal, With respect to your concern about the tunnels and the glaciers, the tunnels would be located quite deep in the mountain and I doubt that they would have any effect on surface rock temperature. In any event, the Treaty development does not require the same tunnels that Seabridge is proposing as the Goldstorm is already on the advantageous side of those mountains and glaciers that ...more

I wasnt really concerned about it. Ive just seen many projects held up for years over some crazy small enviroment issue.  Maybe they have more common sense in BC. They sure dont here in Ontario. Here in Ontario it seems like the ministry of enviroment is deliberatly trying to be negative on prosperity and to be a pain in the buttocks. Lithium, thank you for reaffirming my belief in treaty creek. My initial doubt was a result of spending all of this time waiting for the big bang (the resource estimate) and then it came and went and not much happened.
