TO ALL LONGS: Take back control!

Dear Fellow-Longs,

this is getting out of hand.  So, here are 5 things about ignoring (scrolling by or using the ignore-button):

1) Ignoring will make them run dry. They feed on opposition. Don't work for them by giving them an inch of ground, i.e. a single reply.

2) They are not here to learn, so don't argue. (Tunnel or low-grade anyone?)

3) Ignoring is not acknowlging claims. They only win, if we let them dominate the board.

4) Ignoring is saving you time and other resscources, which you can spend to send me videos of cute puppies or for quality time with your family, friends, pets or cars.

5) Finally, ignoring doesn't do any damage to your account. It might even help with the SP, if followed collectively.

Take back control!

Waffels' link about bashers was an eye-opener, especially the last part about dealing or rather not dealing with them.

Read Stockzorgs recent post on Tuo. (He been reading Tud board) One thing I'll say emphatically: We have some serious talent on these boards....too many to list. Thnx to all of you guys.

Yes, StockAudit and Fordster, it is not hard to spot those who are really and thankfully contributing and that one learn from -  and those running in vicious circles. Let's focus on what brought us here in the first place.

You're the Oxford professor....ignorance would be to go against good advice. I'm ignoring

How come all this serious talent can't/won't answer relevant questions as it relates to the 43-101 that just came out? Why does this serious talent insult, name call, gas light and threaten anyone who challenges their rose coloured view of this stock?

If you want answers to relevant questions concerning the 43-101 why don't you contact someone at Tudor Gold rather than belly ache about the responses you receive here. I rarely post anymore because of all the static going on. If I need questions answered I contact the source. Has always served me well

No thanks, I'd rather do my own research and come to my own conclusions now that we have some facts to digest (43-101). The metallurgy outlined in the report is troubling imo, the dream team here doesn't want to hear it for some reason and that's fine by me. Their responses this week to honest questions, asked by honest investors has been startling and has solidified it for me what ...more

Have to agree that the preliminary met work is troubling.  I think my problem with it is that the report is published minus any comment from management about next steps in the process to determine if/how the gold can be recovered. Frans

A valuable observation.

hey CK, I'm sure that I'm not the only person woke to pumphouse that noticed that no one responded to your thought out, supported and logical analysis of econ. All you got from the circle here crew was "its not time for that sort of analysis" Lol - if these guys think that the institutional investors, and the MM, and the retail gold investing public aren't thinking that, then ...more

I suppose they all feel that people make friendly billion dollar offers without considering economic outcomes. Mine operators have risk departments that vet any potential project. There are clear criteria. The executive can't overturn thos risk governance, they are public companies. And casual good vibes on a friendly offer? You're kidding right? There is no such thing as a casual ...more

That's right. Acquirors hire consultants to vet their deals to protect board and management. The consultant's job is to see if there is a red flag or fatal flaw before any real time and money is spent on due diligence. Based on what we know now, the metallurgical issues could be that flaw. At the very least a buyer would want to see the full met report and run additional tests.

CSK - I hate having to crawl up to the keyboard and make a post.  I'd rather be a reader.  However I need to acknowledge that you and your allies are correct in looking for potential Red Flags on any and all analytical pronouncments issued by public companies, even if they are are from highly respected and INDEPENDENT engineering companies.  Your dedication to cllarifying the ...more
