1.2m sold at 3.00

The is unbelievable that the big investors are willing to pay 3.00 per share to cash up Tudor for the exploration project, while retail investors dumping at 2.30.

I don't have L2, but what would someone throwing 3.6 million at the asks shoot the share price up to?
Comment by mly1819 on Jul 08, 2021 11:00pm
Guess a few millions would have send the stock over $3 in a short time, with average trading volume only 50-150 thousands daily. The market is not efficient as the marginal sellers set the current share price but the large investors pay the higher price.  Also interesting to note, why would any institutions/large investor buy at $3, and have it mark to market at below $2.5(easily 20% off ...more

If you notice all the 100/200 fills, heavily tracked by bots so lvl2 doesn't matter asks/buys would appear instantly and throttle the action on a 3.6m buy.
Comment by NamesJeb on Jul 09, 2021 6:38am
How can bots throttle the action after the fact? I can understand a bot beating me out on a single small order for a few hundred shares within milliseconds of me placing a bid. But what if I threw a 3.6m market bid down, it wouldn't shoot the sp up to high 3.00s?

This is sickening me!

The fact is that these big buyers are not coming out of the air but closely watch the company and and will be in close contact with its exploration management. They clearly know what is coming out in the near future and long term. These investors give their cash directly into the management hands to spend. In return the company help them to cut a deal. When the shares were trading above $3.5, it ...more

Who would invest $3.6m at $3.00 when the current price is $2.30 Something great is definitely going on. Its a great time to buy!
Comment by Paray99 on Jul 09, 2021 4:44pm
This $3 investment is a long term vehicle.... They have committed this price when the stock was north of $3. Now it looks cheap for retail investors, but they made it cheap... I would be happy if I see it at $3.5 in the near future... Then I can say it is on the right track.  At least we want to see a good positive trend after next drill assays!
Comment by stockzorg on Jul 10, 2021 2:05pm
If someone committed to $3 I can tell you they are not happy. There is no reason they could not have picked up the shares at $2.37. Simply give the trade to a broker who guarantees to beat the VWAP for a fee. Given the low daily volume it would take a few days to accumulate the shares but so what? You just saved >$.60 / share on 1.2 million shares - that's $720k. Keep the shares in street ...more

I am not 100 % sure? But I think there is a grace time that you can cancel the your order.. I haven't done one for years..that's when i got my shares after the insiders blew off there shares before I got mine.. Come Monday going to be interesting if there is not a price or volume increase? Not saying to buy or sell.. Ron

Anyone who wants to build a large position would probably need to buy part of it via the PP. Friday's volume was around 25k shares. To buy 1.2 million shares would take 48 trading days. Would the price stay at this level for 9 weeks and would existing shareholders be willing to sell at this price? There would be some shares sold at these level but not a lot of shares would be available. Also ...more

Maybe they know something we don't and wants in ASAP. To me it's a good sign. Just like TEU dropping 9 million into the project. People in the know are buying. IMHO.

I'M QUITE HAPPY BUYING AT THE LOWER PRICE. WHY WOULD YOU WANT ME TO PAY 60 OR 70 CENTS MORE? IT WILL BE AT LEAST A YEAR BEFORE WE GET A REALLY GOOD SHARE PRICE.
Comment by Robizounskin on Jul 11, 2021 8:15am
The market price is not the real price, even if the price of the last transaction was $2.30 at that time that doesn’t mean that you can buy 1.2 M shares at that price in a snap.  It’s just not available, you have to average the ask price until you reach the volume require to fulfill your offer.  Volume is everything, high volume trend to real price, low volume mean nothing.
